The University of Idaho Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is designed specifically for working managers and professionals on an executive career track. The class schedule is formatted to allow students to earn their MBA degree in just 22 months without interrupting their careers. The program combines the rigor and depth of a traditional MBA with an integrated curriculum and flexible format of an executive program.
The program schedule allows for maximum flexibility and work-family balance. The program is divided into four semesters with a one-week summer residence in the first year, and a three-day residence between the first and second year.

The University of Idaho Executive Master of Business

is formatted to allow students to earn their MBA degree in just 22
months without interrupting their careers. The program combines the
rigor and depth of a traditional MBA with an integrated curriculum
and flexible format of an executive program.
The program schedule allows for maximum flexibility and work-family
balance. The program is divided into four semesters with a one-week
summer residence in the first year, and a three-day residence
between the first and second year.
The Idaho Executive MBA Program admits a single class, or cohort,
of approximately 20 students each year. The class remains together
throughout the program. Courses are taught in Coeur d'Alene by
faculty members from University of Idaho College of Business and
Economics.
APPLICATION PROCESS
The managers and senior
professionals who join the Idaho Executive MBA program come from a
wide range of backgrounds and industries, bringing experience and
commitment to the program.
The Idaho Executive MBA program admits a class of approximately 20
students each year. Candidates complete an online application form
(and pay the application fee) at the UI Graduate Admissions. A
complete application consists of the following:
- Application form and application fee
- Official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities previously attended
- GMAT (If the Admissions Committee deems necessary)
- Resume
- Personal statement, employment history form, and company description
- 3 letters of recommendation with accompanying form and sponsor endorsement letter and form
- Admissions interview
The admissions committee schedules interviews after receiving
the completed application packet.
HOW TO APPLY
You will complete the application
form online. The following should be assembled and submitted in one
envelope:
- Personal statement
- Resume
- Employment history form
- Brief description of company, industry, and operations.
The letters of recommendation and recommendation form, endorsing
official’s letter and form, and transcripts should be sent to the
UI Graduate Admissions Office directly from those parties. Please
communicate due dates with the appropriate parties to avoid delays
in processing your application.
Receipt of your application packet will be acknowledged by
email.
