The IMBA Learning Experience

This executive-style International MBA program is based on a format that minimizes time away from work and family but maximizes the impact of classroom instruction.

The rigorous, 20-month program involves technical, lecture-style material delivered electronically and six modules of in-class instruction devoted to interactive, case-method instruction in the core disciplines of accounting, information systems, finance, management and marketing. Our knowledgeable faculty and subject matter experts will provide a critical mix of theoretical and practical knowledge.

The program emphasizes the analysis and consideration of both quantitative and qualitative issues in realistic business situations in the energy industry. As we like to say "the best of academia meets the best of practice."

General knowledge and Skills Developed: during the course of the iMBA program:

  • Understand business functions, how they interact and how they contribute to organizational objectives in a global business environment.
  • Analyze production, distribution and marketing of global energy-related products and services.
  • Determine current financial position and generating short- and long-term projections.
  • Assess domestic and global forces affecting the energy industry.
  • Hone effective communication skills in the global community.
  • Appreciate how contextual forces such as ethical, legal, and culture influences will (and/or should) affect business decisions.
  • Integrate course content with real-life business situation
