ADMISSIONS PROCESS

The Executive MBA Program uses a self-managed application process. Applicants are responsible for providing the necessary information and documents to complete an application. We have developed a resource to guide you through the application instructions. We recommend reviewing the document before accessing the online admission application.

  • Letter of Endorsement
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • Application Workshop

Letter of Endorsement
Candidates must obtain endorsement from their employing organizations. The endorsement acknowledges that the employing organization agrees to support an EMBA applicant's attendance at all required class days and activities. Individuals who are self-employed or not currently employed submit an additional letter of recommendation in place of the Letter of Endorsement. Download the Letter of Endorsement form.

Recommendations
Three recommendations are required (four if self-employed). Applicants provide the recommenders' names and e-mail addresses in the UW Graduate School's online application system. Recommenders receive an e-mail message with a link to access the recommendation form. We strongly encourage recommenders to use the online forms. View recommenders' overview.

Application Workshop
Designed for potential applicants who have attended an information session or met with an EMBA admission representative. You are invited to attend an informative one-hour session to learn how to submit your best application. In-person workshops begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Bank of America Executive Education Center at the Michael G. Foster School of Business. Online sessions begin at 5:00 pm.
