Committed to your success

Ranked as one of the nation's top schools for accounting, entrepreneurship and international business studies, the USC Marshall School of Business is committed to producing successful business leaders with a global perspective, innovative spirit and collaborative approach. Our world-renowned faculty serve as trusted mentors, exposing you to crucial resources, time-tested strategies and worldwide connections.

Preparing you for the global marketplace

In 1997, USC Marshall became the first business school to require international travel and study projects for every Full-Time MBA (FTMBA) degree. Your first year will conclude with PRIME: Pacific Rim International Management Education, an intensive course that includes a 10-day field trip to selected companies and institutions in a leading Pacific Rim, Latin American or European city. The object is to gain a greater understanding of global issues, and to apply the business strategies and skills you have learned by making an on-site presentation.

Sharpening your collaborative skills

Teamwork — especially the ability to work effectively in cross-functional as well as cross-cultural teams — is vital to the success of many companies. You will have many opportunities to work with your fellow FTMBA students in five- or six- person teams and on group projects. The richly diverse backgrounds of your peers will widen your horizons and deepen your appreciation of divergent points of view.

Providing ready access to the new business frontier

Our location in the dynamic, multicultural hub of Los Angeles gives us a unique worldview. Southern California is a prime gateway to markets in the Pacific Rim and Latin America that are defining the new business frontier — from the life sciences and health care to media and entertainment.

Offering rewarding leadership opportunities

You will have many opportunities to develop leadership skills while working on projects that give back to the local and global community. In addition to more than 30 Marshall professional clubs and social organizations, and national MBA competitions, we offer the unique experience of participating in a global research project for the APEC Business Advisory Council.

Encouraging entrepreneurship

Celebrated among graduate programs in the field, our Lloyd Greif Center for the Entrepreneurial Studies brings together a diverse mix of academics and entrepreneur practitioners. If you choose a concentration in entrepreneurship, these are the people who will help you develop the skills and cultivate the mindset needed to launch a successful new venture.

Introducing you to an influential global network

After graduation, you'll be part of an influential global network of more than 70,000 USC Marshall alumni and nearly 200,000 USC alumni — a close-knit community that spans 44 countries.
