Off-site Program

Xavier University’s MBA program was designed for the working professional, but for some students the trip to campus each week is inconvenient. That’s why Xavier brings its nationally ranked program to you. With three off campus locations starting each year, you’re bound to find the Xavier MBA much more convenient. While the location may be more accessible, the academic challenge is the same as the on campus program and the benefits are just as rewarding. Class size is limited for each program, so apply today!

Overview

In addition to earning the respected and nationally ranked Xavier University Master of Business Administration degree at a location near you, you’ll also enjoy the accelerated format and full-time administrative assistance. Program schedules are set from the start so that Off-site MBA's complete 50 credit hours of course work by attending class two nights a week for 24 months with the same cohort of classmates.

Prospective students with a business degree and/or course credit within the last 5 years should check with an adviser to determine if the on campus program is more suitable.

Off-site MBAs also benefit from the experience of a full-time program coordinator who handles everything from orientation to graduation, student registration, payment issues, textbook delivery, and much more. In other words, there’s only one reason to come to campus – to get your degree at commencement!

Accredited

All of the Off-site MBA programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.  

Of approximately 1,400 schools with MBA programs internationally, only about one-third meet the high standards of excellence demanded by the AACSB International.

Admission

To be considered for admission into the Off-site MBA Programs the following materials must be submitted:

• Completed application
• Resume
• Official Transcripts (from all undergraduate and graduate institutions)
• Official GMAT test scores
• Letter of Recommendation (addressed to Off-site MBA Coordinator)

Once the Off-site MBA Office receives all materials, you will be considered for admission into the location of your choice.

Minimum GMAT Requirements

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is administered as a computer adaptive test in cities nationwide by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). All applicants except those possessing an M.D., J.D., or Ph.D., are required to successfully pass the GMAT exam and submit their scores to Xavier. Anyone considering applying is urged to complete the GMAT prior to the start of classes. You can find information about registering for the exam by clicking through.

Total GMAT scores lower than 470 are not accepted. However, if an individual achieves higher than a 470 it does not guarantee admission. The total GMAT required for each applicant varies based upon the following formula: Undergraduate G.P.A. x 200 + Total GMAT = or is greater than 1070 points. Additionally, the following must also be achieved specific to the GMAT score: a minimum quantitative score in the 25th percentile and analytical writing score of a 3.0 or higher.
