A requirement in the Certificate Program in Paralegal Studies
Learn all aspects of advanced paralegalism, including legal research, legal writing, breaking rules into elements, applying rules to facts, pleading preparation, discovery coordination, digesting discovery documents, file maintenance, billable hours, form manipulation, electronic research, motion preparation and other areas relevant to becoming a successful paralegal. Note: Online section must be completed within three months of receiving login information.
Prerequisite: Essential Paralegal Studies Part I: Foundational Skills X418

Tod I. Zuckerman, J.D., Extension Honored Instructor, has
practiced in the areas of insurance coverage and environmental law
since 1980. He has been a prosecutor, defense counsel, author and
general practitioner. His teaching subjects include environmental,
contract, insurance and business law. Zuckerman is writing another
book on environmental law.
