The Simon Accelerated PMBA is designed for working professionals who seek to maximize their learning at an accelerated pace. The PMBA is a partial lock-step, class cohort system in which teams of students take their nine core courses together in a structured program of two evening classes per quarter. Thereafter, each individual selects 11 required electives to complete his or her desired concentration(s). Continuing at two classes per quarter, cohort members typically complete their degrees in two and a half years.

The program is open to new students, current non-matriculates, and matriculates who have completed three or fewer classes.
Academics
The Simon Accelerated PMBA is a 64 credit hour part-time evening program with the same degree, faculty and concentrations available as the full-time Simon MBA program. Students attend two classes per quarter and complete their degrees in approximately 2.5 years.
The program is distinguished by its class cohort system, in
which participants attend nine core courses together in a
structured sequence, with study groups and tailored events and
services designed exclusively for program participants.
Subsequently, each student selects 11 electives to complete his/her
desired concentration(s).

Admissions
The Simon School uses a self-managed online application. This requires the applicant to accumulate the necessary documents to complete the process. Applications will be processed when they are submitted, although an application cannot be reviewed for a final decision by the Admissions Committee until all materials are received and the application is complete. Once submitted, academic records, essays and recommendations may not be copied, borrowed or returned.

- One required essay (double spaced, 12-point font, 500 word limit)
- Unofficial transcripts, scanned and uploaded for each college attended (admitted students will be required to submit official transcripts at a later date)
- Test-taker results for GMAT, scanned and uploaded
- Test-taker results for TOEFL, scanned and uploaded (all international candidates except those who received a degree from an English-speaking institution)
- One online letter of recommendation (submitted electronically); a seccond letter of recommendation is optional
- $125 application fee
Tuition & Financial Aid
An MBA is an investment in your future. The accelerated pace of the PMBA course schedule may place additional demands on your financial situation. While there are a variety of qualifying loan options available to you as a part-time student and working professional, the Simon School also offers need and merit-based scholarships on a limited basis in the PMBA program.
PMBA candidates seeking scholarship support must meet standard Simon School selection criteria. Decisions on scholarships are made at the time of admission and communicated with an admissions offer. For more information, please contact your Simon School PMBA representative.
