Goals

• Understand the functionality and tools within the SAP systems that will be of use in the compliance of Auditing Requirements.
• Overview of all of the Tools in the SAP environment that impact your process in Auditing and SOA. These tools are made up of: Schedule Manager, AIS, Authorizations, SEM-SM (Balanced Scorecard); SEM-PM (Management Cockpit); to name a few.
• Understand the options and possibly tools that are found in the SAP systems and what they can offer.

• SAP01 SAP Overview
• An understanding of the Process Flow in SAP systems.

Content

• Functionality and Flexibility of the Auditing Information System.
• Processes in the SAP system - Fast Closing process in R/3 and Globally including SEM-BCS, Schedule Manager, Process Chain and Consolidations.
• Reporting Capabilities to enhance the functionality of the Auditing process in SAP.
• Internal Management Controls: including – the MIC, SEM-BSC (Balanced Scorecard), SEM-MC(Management Cockpit), SEM-BPS (Business Planning and Simulations), and Processes in BW.
