Profit-Center Accounting in new General Ledger

Goals

• Set up Profit Center Accounting (in FI) in an SAP ERP Financials system where the new General Ledger Accounting has been activated
• Describe and maintain global Profit Center Accounting settings, including master data
• Create Profit Center Accounting transaction data generated as a result of actual FI or CO postings
• Maintain Profit Center Accounting plan values generated as a result of planning activities in FI and CO
• Describe the operating mode of the EHP5 functionality “Profit Center Reorganization”
• Gain an overview of the standard delivered drilldown reports to analyze Profit Center Accounting data

• AC040 (Business Processes in Management Accounting)

Notes

• This course explains the settings for profit centers in new General Ledger Accounting. Attend AC610 to obtain information about profit centers in the classic General Ledger/classic Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA).
• Please note the prerequisites for this class are AC010 and AC040, or the equivalent AC050. This course doesn't cover Profit Center in Classic G/L.
