MBA in Energy Management

Graduates will gain a deeper understanding of business issues related to the energy industry in a global economy. This program will look at the energy industry in Oklahoma, the United States as well as around the world.Leadership –

Oklahoma is a leader in energy. OBU is here to help you become a leader in the energy industry. This degree program is designed to help you engage the energy industry with wisdom and discernment regarding issues of today and tomorrow. Courses are taught by professors who have experience in their field. You will interact with professionals from different sectors of the energy industry and Oklahoma City business community in general. This will not be a book-knowledge MBA. You will learn from leaders.

Personalized –

Your studies here can be shaped to fit your desired goals in your present position or the position you have your eye on. Our professors work with you to craft projects in line with your goals in the program. This is not a one-size fits all MBA. Your Capstone project will be designed and crafted by you as you look to current needs within your current company or that company you would like to start or join. Your MBA program is limited only by the constraints you place upon it.

Foundational Ethics –

At the OBU Graduate School, we utilize materials from Character First in class to help you strengthen your business ethics. You will be encouraged and invited to join us at events such as luncheons with the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium at the Petroleum Club each month. An MBA from OBU is not just a bunch of head knowledge. We want to produce graduates who not only succeed, but succeed in doing what is right.

Convenience –

• Classes meet just one night per week.
• Courses are six weeks long. This allows you to get in and get out as needed.
• Our campus is located in NW OKC close to I-44 and May Ave.
• You can follow the prescribed order of courses and finish in around 18 months or set your own pace of study.
• You are able to take some classes on campus and some online with our online program.
• You can join a cohort in August or January

Energy Management Certificate Program

Perhaps you already have your MBA, but you would like to add a specialization to your prior studies. Our Energy Management Certificate Program allows you to take our energy classes in a stand-alone fashion. You can earn a Certificate in Energy Management to compliment your current education and skill set. Contact the graduate school office for more information.
