Course 6077: Personalizing a Portal by Using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007

Introduction This course will introduce you to the features and functionalities available in Office SharePoint Server 2007 that you can use to personalize a portal. You can manage content distribution to users by organizing users into audiences. You can also create user profiles to manage user information. The course covers the code required to configure audiences and user profiles. This will also help you prepare for exam 70-542. Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Create an audience to manage content distribution.
• Target content to an audience programmatically.
• Display users and audiences programmatically.
• Work with user profiles to manage user information.

• Microsoft Silverlight 4.0 or higher
• Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher
• Microsoft XML Core Services 3.0 or higher
