You’ll have opportunities to gain real-world, applicable experience through our new Kansas Initiative Program, case competitions, study abroad, and internships. As a student, you will work with career service professionals to find an internship that fits your career goals and allows you to extend what you learn in the classroom into an active, hands-on learning experience.
The program includes 31 credits of core curriculum and six credits of application classes, and 12 credits of track classes. Prior to the beginning of the second semester, you will select a track program consisting of five classes and 15 credit hours. The tracks are either finance or marketing/supply chain. During the summer before your final third-and-final semester, you will obtain an internship in your targeted career field. Students will have the option of completing a certificate specialization during a fourth semester of course work.
Beyond earning your MBA from KU and becoming part of the Jayhawk family, you will benefit from an expansive network of MBA alumni. Throughout the year, the KU MBA Alumni Network hosts events for current students to network with alumni.
The KU MBA program is designed for business leaders, from the recent college graduate to the seasoned executive. If you are looking to advance, rebrand, change industries, or start your own business, a KU MBA will open the doors to new possibilities.
