The University of Kansas School of Business prepares tomorrow’s business leaders. We are dedicated to continual growth in education with our four-year undergraduate programs, study abroad, dynamic and rigorous doctoral programs, progressive faculty and a strong alumni backbone. The KU School of Business has been educating students and creating business leaders since 1924.

PASSIONATE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

We combine a unique approach to learning with exceptional instruction. The Business School Experience (BSE) is a new endeavor by the school to prepare you for success in the classroom, the workforce and the professional world as a first-year student at the university. We take our students out of the classroom and place them in real-world situations, allowing them to apply academic knowledge to real business challenges. It’s an approach that transforms our students into business leaders.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

The study abroad programs at the School of Business are across the board – literally. We created the Institute for International Business (IIB) to coordinate and support the internationalization of students and faculty. We offer longstanding programs at Groupe ESC Clermont-Ferrand, France, and CIMBA in Italy, in addition to short-term programs at universities in India, China, Germany, Costa Rica and the Czech Republic.

LONG-TERM SUCCESS

At the School of Business we are dedicated to continuing education through our master’s and doctoral program. We offer full-time and working-professional master’s of business administration (MBA), master of accounting (MAcc), and MSB supply chain management and logistics designed for military officers assigned to Fort Leavenworth.

Our highly selective Ph.D. program fosters the capacity for effective teaching and original research through mastery of a chosen field of study, a thorough understanding of research methodology, the ability to communicate effectively, and the motivation for continuing self-education.
