Choosing to pursue a Kogod MBA degree full-time will enable you to maximize all of the resources and experiences the business school has to offer. Our program provides students a singular focus on their education, allowing them to change careers or advance in their chosen industry.

Internships, career development, and volunteer opportunities through theKogod Center for Career Development and K-LAB (Kogod Leadership & Applied Business) will ensure you graduate with a deep network of contacts from within the AU community and beyond.

The Kogod School of Business graduate application is available online to provide you with a faster and more efficient application experience. We do not accept paper applications. 

Once you set up your account, you will have a username and password you can use to return to work on your application over several sessions. Your information is transmitted through a secured server and is kept confidential until you submit your application. Only after you submit your application will it be available for review by our admissions staff. 

When you have completed your application and are ready to submit it, you can pay your application fee via credit card online or by mailing a check or money order to the Kogod Admissions Office. No application will be processed until the application fee is paid. If your United States Military experience, AU employment status, or program of application qualifies you for an application fee waiver as outlined in the application instructions, please select the appropriate option on the payment screen. 

Please note that the following information is also required to complete your application:

• official transcripts from all attended universities
• resume
• official GMAT or GRE scores
• official TOEFL scores if applicable (ETS code: 4357)
• 2 letters of recommendation (if not submitted to providers on-line)
• CFIS form and supporting financial documents for international applicants (can be submitted with application; required after admissions decision)

All international applicants applying for a F-1 or J-1 Visa will be required to submit a completed CFIS form and appropriate financial support documentation prior to receiving an I-20 from American University.
