The University's school of business, located in Fairfield, Connecticut, offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program which provides an opportunity for individuals to prepare for leadership positions in today's complex and dynamic business environment.
The MBA degree program consists of a prescribed pattern of graduate courses:
- The program is based on a process-based approach to learning the key quantitative and leadership competencies necessary for becoming accountable, ethical leaders
- Beyond required courses, the student may choose to study in-depth in one of four academic concentrations:

The MBA degree program consists of a prescribed pattern of

students identify their optimal course of study.

The majority of graduate classes are conducted in the evening at
the Fairfield campus. This program primarily serves
professionally employed students who want to earn an advanced
degree under the direction of faculty members who possess excellent
academic credentials and pragmatic business expertise.
To help students achieve these objectives, the University relies
on faculty members who are dedicated to teaching. The
faculty combine broad business experience and academic training
which helps to make the learning experience at Sacred Heart
University unique.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Admission
Requirements
Individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in any
academic discipline from a regionally accredited college or
university will be considered for admission to the MBA program.
The following documents must be submitted and will be considered
when applying:
- Online Application
- $60 Non-refundable application fee
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
- Official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions
attended.
Sacred Heart University students and alumni may authorize the Office of Graduate Admissions to obtain their official SHU transcripts on their behalf. Please contact the Graduate Admissions Office for an authorization form. - Written personal statement- a one-page statement describing your interest and qualifications for the program, as well as history of relevant business experience
- 2 Letters of recommendation
- Professional resume
- GMAT score - For applicants with 2 years or more of
professional work experience, the minimum acceptable GMAT score is
400. For those applicants with less than 2 years of professional
experience, the minimum acceptable score is 500.
