Isenberg’s Hybrid MBA option is ideal for individuals who seek a rich in-residence education but want to minimize time spent away from home. Less disruptive to a busy life and career, students first complete the MBA business core curriculum online at an individualized pace and tailored to each student’s schedule, then transition to a 9-month on-campus immersion experience at the renowned Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Steps for Isenberg’s Hybrid program

1. Apply to the Online MBA.
2. Complete 6 core courses online.
3. Contact your program advisor to discuss transition requirements, including a Skype interview.
4. Fulfill the remaining core courses online while planning for a Fall in-residence start.
5. Join us on campus for the 9-month in-residency program.

What we look for

Students who successfully apply to our online MBA are accomplished, engaged, innovative and conscientious. We strive to build a class of accountable leaders who are confident yet grounded, welcome a challenge, and are strong collaborators. Academic history, aptitude for graduate-level work, motivation, and meaningful professional experience (3+ years is preferred) are all taken into consideration. Prior business education is not required to be admitted into the program and may exempt you from some foundational coursework.
