MBA SCHEDULE AND CURRICULUM

SAINT PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS LOCATIONS Students may complete their degree at Hamline’s Saint Paul campus or Minneapolis location.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Admission to The Hamline MBA is rigorous and selective. We seek individuals who value integrity, possess a strong work ethic, show leadership abilities, and want to actively collaborate with other students and faculty. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MBA PROGRAM
Review the application checklist before completing your application. Note that official transcripts, letters of recommendation, and supplemental materials for international students must be sent separately to the Office of Graduate Admission.
A complete application for admission to Hamline’s MBA program includes the following items:
1. Online Application
Complete an online application. There is no application fee
for online applications*, and your application status can be
tracked online.
*All international applicants must pay a $100 application fee. The
application fee is accepted in the form of a bank draft (payable to
Hamline University).
2. Personal Statement
A one- to two-page personal statement, typewritten and double-spaced, detailing:
- why you have chosen Hamline University,
- how the degree program will help you meet your career goals, and
- which concentrations or policy areas are of interest to you and why.
3. Professional Résumé or Curriculum Vitae
A professional résumé including a chronological list of your employers, positions held, and job responsibilities.
4. Official Transcripts from all Undergraduate and Graduate Work
Official sealed transcripts from a regionally accredited college or university should be sent directly from the institution to the Hamline University Office of Graduate Admission. Personal copies are not accepted. You do not need to supply transcripts for courses taken at Hamline University.
5. Letters of Recommendation
We require three letters of recommendations, written by people familiar with your academic and/or professional history, detailing your specific qualifications to pursue advanced study, and sent directly to the Graduate Admission office. Letters from family members will not be accepted.
6. Writing Sample
A sample of your academic or work-related writing, typewritten, at least three pages in length, written in the last two years, and written solely by you.

DEADLINES
Strong preference is given to qualified applicants who complete the admission requirement at least six weeks prior to the start of the terms. Applicants will also be considered if they have completed the admissions requirements at least two weeks prior and space is available. International students have earlier deadlines.
INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
International applicants must also submit the materials listed in the international graduate student checklist. International applicants must submit all materials by the following dates:
- Fall Term - Submit completed application file by June 1
- Spring Term - Submit completed application file by October 1
- Summer Term - Submit completed application file by February 1
INFORMATION SESSIONS
Information sessions are an opportunity to get to know Hamline and the graduate program you plan to pursue. We offer regular sessions for the MBA program and the School of Business in both Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
