Professional MBA Broward

Our Chapman Graduate School of Business has designed a Professional MBA program for busy management professionals in South Florida who seek an MBA and want to pursue their degree on Saturdays. This accelerated, eighteen-month, weekend MBA program (offered at ourBroward Pines Center) features a thorough and engaging curriculum that integrates the fundamentals of business with skill building in management and teamwork. You will graduate with the capabilities you need to assume greater responsibility and be competitive in today’s business world.

Intended for the working professional with a minimum of four years of relevant professional work experience, the Chapman Graduate School of Business’ Professional MBA Broward is a fast-paced, stimulating weekend MBA program featuring outstanding faculty and the unique opportunity to interact with your peers in a dynamic learning environment. You’ll be assigned to a study team that functions as a support group throughout the program.

Our accelerated eighteen-month program allows you to complete your MBA without interrupting your career. At the start of the program, a three-day professional development seminar is held, plus refresher courses in accounting and other quantitative skills.

Admission

We admit students to our PMBA every spring term only. To be eligible for admission to our Professional MBA Broward program, you must:

• have four years of professional work experience.
• meet the general university requirements for admission to a graduate degree program.
• be in good standing with all previously-attended colleges and universities.
• have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• have a grade point average of 3.0 or better based on upper-division coursework. Applicants with less than a 3.0 with strong work experience may be considered.
• have official transcripts from all previously-attended universities (undergraduate and graduate) in an envelope *sealed* by the degree-granting institution(s).
• have official proof of degree—a copy of the original diploma is required.
• For those whose native language is not English, have taken the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) must have a minimum score of 213 on the computer-Based TOEFL (CBT), 550 on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT), or an 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT). • Although the GMAT is not required for this program, you may be asked to take it to strengthen your admission package.
