Digital Media One is a four-week online course designed for students who want to learn digital media. This may include artists, designers, or photographers who would like to build a Web site or Web portfolio to showcase their work, as well as students who would like to learn more about the curriculum of Peninsula College’s Multimedia Communications program before enrolling in for-credit courses.

This non-credit course explores the tools and techniques used by professional digital media artists, photographers, graphic designers, and Web designers. Emphasis is placed on Adobe applications, photographic composition, color symbolism, digital image editing and digital illustration, basic html and digital video, and flash animation. Free trials of software introduced during the course are available for download, so students will not have to purchase software to participate.
