Description
The Coles College of Business offers a dual degree program leading to both the Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Science in Information Systems designations. It responds to the increasing need for leaders who can integrate sophisticated management practices with strong technology skills. The programs are completed in 51 credit hours rather than the 72 hours that would be necessary if the degrees were pursued separately.

These different skill sets intersect in areas such as global project management, IT strategy and policy, IT procurement, and contracting IT solutions. This degree program allows students to earn the two masters degrees in a seamless way, and is a stepping stone in the career path to a chief information officer (CIO) or technology entrepreneur.
Application Process
The admissions standards and application process for the MBA-MSIS
dual degree program are equivalent to those for the stand-alone
programs. Follow the same procedures for applying to either the MBA
or MSIS program, noting in the application that you are interested
in the dual degree program.
