The AVC MSP 5th Edition Foundation and Practitioner has everything you need to become MSP accredited. It will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of the scope, content, and structure of the MSP 5th Edition method required to help prepare you for the MSP 5th Edition Foundation and Practitioner examinations.

The Foundation examination is intended to assess whether you can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the MSP program management framework.

The Practitioner examination is intended to assess whether you can demonstrate sufficient ability to apply and tailor the MSP framework.

Pre-requisites

• There are no formal prerequisites to attend MSP® Foundation course and exam.
• To access the MSP 5th edition Practitioner course and exam, participants must hold an MSP® 5th edition Foundation certificate.

Exam and Certification

The exam will be taken online, giving you the comfortable choice of writing the exam at home or the office. We require a computer with an internet connection for the exam and a webcam (ProctorU). The exam is included in this package. Very flexible!

Foundation Exam Format:

• Multiple choice questions
• 75 questions with one mark available per question
• Five questions to be trial and not counted in scores
• 36 marks required to pass (out of 60 marks available) - 60%
• 60 minutes’ duration (25% extra time for candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native language)
• Closed book

Practitioner Exam format:

• 70 questions (one point for each correct answer)
• 70 points available in total
• 42 points required to pass the exam
• Duration of two and a half hours (25% extra time for candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native language)
• Open book exam
• Candidates may use the official Managing Successful Programs 5th Edition paper manual. The manual may be annotated and tabulated but no sticky notes or loose-leaf papers containing additional notes are allowed

When is the classroom schedule?

Depending on the starting dates, our classroom courses are consecutively held from 10 am - 6 pm (CET) with lunch breaks in between

Will missing a live class affect my ability to complete the course?

Yes, you may be subject to not getting the exam voucher if you don't attend a class. Therefore, it's better always to let us know at least 2 weeks in advance if you require any rescheduling requests.
