University in Saudi Arabia. It was established in 2000.
The MBA Program of UBT is a unique program with a character all its
own. It pursues its vision as provider of advanced knowledge and
skills to business leaders to develop initiatives for
entrepreneurial endeavors and mission of producing capable business
leaders empowered with the necessary management and research skills
to make high-quality business decisions in either an
entrepreneurial, executive, or staff capacity.
The MBA program is a two-year masteral degree. The program is
distinguished by its:
- Exceptional learning methodology where rigor, depth, innovation, and analytical thinking are fully integrated to deal with all aspects of business problems
- MBA curriculum follows a world-wide standard
- Classes are taught in the English language
- Course completion that includes research as in integral part of the course requirements
- Recognition of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), KSA
Most challenging achievements and the future
The MBA program of UBT has evolved into a well-sought
master program not only in Jeddah, but throughout the Kingdom. It
is now known throughout the GCC and the Middle East and around the
world.
The Graduate Studies program in MBA has reached an impetus of
graduating excellent students. In all batches, honor students
(excellent: 95 and above or A+) are more than 50% of the total
graduates.
Differentiating factors
UBT is the first private business university in the kingdom. Additionally, the culture of the program promotes the Saudi culture and immersion to cultural diversity through the courses offered which expands to global dimension and international scopes. The structure of the program, with 36 core courses leading to an option in eight areas, is an added feature of the program. Hence, any graduate may opt to take double option after graduation.
To enhance classroom instruction, every faculty is enjoined to invite top-caliber speakers suitable to the course during the term.
The university likewise coordinates with the Chamber of Commerce for local and international lectures, seminar-workshops, symposia, and exhibits where the MBA students are invited to attend.
