SAP Agentry Work Manager for IBM Maximo

Goals

• Use the SAP Agentry Work Manager for IBM Maximo development platform to create mobile applications specifically for IBM Maximo backend systems
• Test and debug mobile applications using emulation software
• Understand how Work Manager and Inventory Manager fits within the corporate network environment, security model and IBM Maximo deployment
• Be able to install and configure an out of the Box Work Manager application and configure standard functionality listed on the implementation planning form
• Understand the Application architecture of the Work Manager for IBM Maximo Suite Apps
• Understand administration tools and log files and be able to administer and maintain a Mobile installation
• Be able to make screen and business logic changes as well as deploy common configurations

Prerequisites

• MOB300: SAP Agentry Essentials
• Expert level understanding and practical experience in object- oriented development and design.
• Experience with Eclipse IDE (or WebSphere IDE )
• Be familiar with the IBM Maximo ® application
• Knowledge of JAVA

• Basic understanding of network concepts and client-server communications.
• Basic level SQL programming
• Familiarity with mobility concepts
• Familiarity with handheld devices and emulators
