• In this course, participants get familiar with detailed information about the functions of the global availability check in the SAP SCM solution in the context of sales and distribution.

• Creating a sales order in the SAP ERP System with an availability check in the SAP SCM (APO) System
• Decision of the check method
• Demonstration and configuration of the basic methods of the availability check in SAP SCM (APO):
• • Product availability check
  • Product allocation check
  • Check against the forecast
• Demonstration and configuration of further methods of the availability check in SAP SCM (APO):
• • Rules-based availability check (Integrated Rule Maintenance and substitutions based on Interchangeability Master Data)
  • Calling up production as part of the availability check in SAP APO (Capable-To-Promise, Multi-Level-ATP)
• Simulation functions in SAP SCM (APO)
• Functions of the Redistribution in SAP SCM (APO)
• • Backorder Processing
  • Order Due Lists
  • Event-Driven Quantity Assignment
  • Reassignment of Order Confirmations
• Introduction into the Scheduling methods in SAP SCM (APO)
