Professional MBA Program

If you are an experienced professional launching your management career, the Drucker Professional MBA may be the right choice for you. Utilizing a “modified cohort” approach, the Professional MBA provides the combination of schedule structure and flexibility that is important to work- ing professionals.

Designed to help you gain the intellectual leverage you need to advance your career goals, the degree includes professional assessments and Executive Coaching as an entryway to a fully customized Professional Pathway of courses aimed at your specific needs.

Approximately one-half of your PMBA curriculum is dedicated to the required core courses that provide a solid base in the traditional business disciplines. To augment that base of knowledge, you will work with an executive coach to outline the set of courses and experiences necessary for you to complete your Professional Pathway requirement.

Your Pathway is customized with you and for you. It will be different from that of other students in the program be- cause your goals and needs are different from theirs. Each PMBA course – core or pathway – boasts world-class faculty and the intimate class size that encourage unique access to your professors as well as valuable interaction and strong relationships with fellow classmates.

You will engage with professionals, in and out of the classroom, whose diverse work and life experiences inspire new and different perspectives and insights.

Curriculum

Core Curriculum

• The Professional MBA Core curriculum introduces students to fundamental business knowledge through a series of course that complement and build off each other
• Students receive excellent training in functional areas, with particular emphasis in strategy and leadership
• Students take their core courses, together, establishing a strong support network

Elective Flexibility

• Students have the flexibility to enroll in elective courses tailored to their career goals and interests
• The majority of MBA elective courses are scheduled in the evening or in intensive formats to accommodate Professional MBA students' schedules
• Students are advised by facutly and program staff to select electives most relevant to their fields of study and professional goals

After your first semester, you will choose your area of concentration and will be mentored by your faculty advisor in your concentration. A concentration represents a minimum of 12 units beyond the core courses, in a single area of study.

With a total of 60 units required for the degree, 32 of which are committed to the core, you have 28 elective units remaining to dedicate to your concentration.
