A UIM configuration manager is generally a business/requirements

and creating, updating, and testing service fulfillment
configurations using Studio and UIM. This user has an understanding
of the business aspects of the configuration required to model
end-to-end service fulfillment resources. This user does not
require IT technical or system administrator skills but may use
Java developer skills.
The technical consultant role would benefit taking this course.
This is generally a technical role. This user is responsible for
taking service fulfillment configurations created by the UIM
configuration manager and designing and implementing the technical

3rd party systems or designing and implementing technical
configurations proposed by the UIM configuration manager. An Oracle
Order and Service Management (OSM) technical consultant may take
this course if they want a deep understanding of UIM.
The course is also for advanced UIM users wanting to configure UIM
for everyday business users. It is also fitting for a functional
