The Distribution Management Fundamentals course will provide the end-user with an in depth look at all of the tools that fall under the Oracle DMS suite of applications. This course will prepare the end-user to fully utilize the capabilities of Switching Management and how it can be used to streamline planned and emergency switching within a utility. This course will also provide knowledge of how the Power Flow tools can help an end-user monitor the characteristics of energy delivery within the electrical network and assist the user with mitigating problems that may arise.

This course is designed for new and upgrade users of the system, so no previous Distribution Management System experience is required. Students will be led through instruction, hands-on practice, and evaluation of the skills necessary to be successful when working with the Distribution Management System.
