Oracle Insurance Insbridge Rating & Underwriting Fundamentals

This course covers the fundamentals of creating a rating program with RateManager, a component of the Oracle Insurance Insbridge Rating and Underwriting System. Students are introduced to the features and functionality of RateManager, learn how to create and manage program elements, and learn how to create and maintain a basic rating program. Throughout the class, students will perform hands on element creation and at the end of class, create two simple rating programs.

This course is appropriate for students who need to know how to take elements from a rating manual and convert them into an electronic format using RateManager. Students are shown how to implement tables, set up underwriting rules, and create calculations to generate premiums. Students also run programs through testing and create program versions.
