The Advanced System Administration for the Solaris 9 Operating System (OS) course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to administer Sun systems running Solaris 9 in a network environment. Students will be taught how to maintain Sun systems, configure and troubleshoot the Network File System (NFS), and configure the Network Information Service (NIS) environment.

Students who can benefit from this course:
  • Experienced System Administrators who are or will be responsible for administering Sun systems in a Solaris 9 OS that is networked, which includes LANs and Solaris OS systems
