The University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management is the largest of UT Dallas’ seven schools, with a fall 2012 enrollment of more than 6,600, about half of whom were graduate students. The school provides outstanding tuition value, a wide variety of classes on campus and online, flexible scheduling and a convenient location easily accessed from U.S. Highway 75 (Central Expressway), the President George Bush Turnpike and Dallas North Tollway.
The Jindal School of Management keeps abreast of corporate and industry needs as an essential component in providing students with rigorous training and relevant skills for professional success. Programs are offered at the undergraduate, MBA, master’s, PhD and executive levels. Programs focus around five broad topics of business specialization:
- Accounting
- Finance and Managerial Economics
- Information Systems and Operations Management
- Marketing
- Organizations, Strategy and International Management
A broad array of internship and scholarship opportunities is made available to the Jindal School students each academic year. The school operates its own Career Management Center, which students may use in addition to the campus-wide UT Dallas Career Center. More than 25 student organizations are based in the school. Most of these focus on career development in specific fields and build networking, internship and employment opportunities.
The school’s faculty has an excellent reputation based on members’ teaching, research and business expertise. Based on faculty publications in the top 24 journals spanning all areas of business over the last four years, the Jindal School of Management ranks No. 15 in North America in research productivity and No. 16 globally, according to The UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings™ (2012).Financial Times (2012) ranks the school at No. 20 in the world for faculty research productivity.
U.S. News & World Report (2013) ranks the school’s Full-Time MBA at No. 37 in the nation and tied for No. 16 among public university programs in the United States. In the same ranking, the publication places the Professional (Part-Time) MBA at No. 34 in the nation. Financial Times (2012) has ranked the Executive MBA program No. 21 overall among U.S.-based programs.
