Course 6648: Binding Data to Collections by Using Windows Presentation Foundation

Introduction In this 2-hour online course, application developers will learn how to bind data to collections in a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application. Topics covered in this course include:

• Binding to Collections of Objects
• Managing Data by Using Collection Views
• Creating Master-Detail User Interfaces
• Presenting Collection Data by Using Data Templates

This course will also prepare you for exam 70-502 TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 - Windows Presentation Foundation.

Student prerequisites:

To get the most out of this course, the target audience should have previous experience with developing applications by using earlier versions of Microsoft Visual Studio. Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Bind data to collections of objects.
• Manage the data in a collection by using collection views.
• Expose the data in a collection by using a master-detail user interface.
• Present the data in a collection by using data templates.
