In 1917, the OU College of Commerce and Industry was one of the first schools west of the Mississippi to be accredited by AACSB International. This formed into the College of Business Administration in 1929. Adams Hall was built to house the College of Business Administration. The building was named after the college's first dean, Arthur B.
