The San Diego MBA program at Alliant School of Management provides advanced business, management and analytical skills and extensive practical experience applying those skills, especially in multicultural contexts. The MBA degree is designed to offer flexibility to students who have completed prior business courses (see details below). The program follows a cohort model, with all students taking the core curriculum courses as a cohort when they start the program, followed by concentration tracks during their remaining program of study.

The San Diego MBA program at Alliant School of Management provides advanced business, management and analytical skills and extensive practical experience applying those skills, especially in multicultural contexts. The MBA degree is designed to offer flexibility to students who have completed prior business courses (see details below). The program follows a cohort model, with all students taking the core curriculum courses as a cohort when they start the program, followed by concentration tracks during their remaining program of study.
Students with a bachelors degree in business administration can complete the MBA program in one year, assuming a full course load in the summer semester. Students with a bachelors degree in areas other than business administration can complete the MBA program in 16 months, again assuming a full course load in the summer semester. Summer semester courses are offered in an executive hybrid format to allow students some flexibility in studying schedules. All courses are offered in the evening and ASM scheduling accommodates working professionals. A full course load requires the student to be in the classroom twice a week.
Admissions Criteria: San Diego
MBA Bachelor's DegreeA four-year
baccalaureate degree or equivalent from an accredited
university. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.GMAT
or InterviewA competitive score from an exam taken within
five years (official score required for consideration)
OR
An interview is undertaken once all other admissions documentation
is received. The purpose of the interview is to
assess the candidate's abilities and background, as well as his/her
motivation for wanting to complete the MBA
program.Recommendations
Two professional
recommendationsEssayA personal statement, based
around the following topics (do not exceed more than 250 words per
topic):
- Describe one of your professional accomplishments and how
it impacted the company you work for;
- Describe a challenging professional situation, how you
handled it and what you wish you would have done differently;
- What are your post-graduate school objectives? How will a
graduate degree assist you in achieving these

Language Proficiency (not required of all
applicants)English language proficiency must be demonstrated by
applicants not previously educated in English. Minimum TOEFL score
of 550 paper/213 computer/80 internet or equivalent.
