Executive MBA
Beginning in August, classes meet Friday afternoons and all-day Saturday, every other week. The program begins and ends with intensive off-site residential weekends that are devoted to examining leadership. Bridging these weekends are four academic terms lasting about three months each. Each term has a major team project and additional individual and casework assignments.
Students travel to countries with significant global economies, such as China. In 2012, the class traveled to China for study of varying business models and meetings with leaders of such firms as Lenovo, Citibank, Huawei, Agilent, Flextronics, Satyam, Accenture, and Technomic Asia.

CEI brings students to Silicon Valley companies which are world renowned for being on the cutting edge of business practice. Students work directly with key decision-makers, review results, and debrief with corporate executives, learning these management techniques first-hand and first.
What is a completed application and do I need to have all my documents together before sending them to Santa Clara University?
A completed application includes
- online application
- application fee
- resume
- GMAT or GRE score*
- TOEFL score (if required)
- two official transcripts from each college or university attended
- two required essays
- two confidential recommendation letters
All materials do not need to be sent together; we will keep a file
for each applicant as documents arrive.
An application will not go into final
review with the Admissions
Committee until all admissions
materials are received. You are welcome to drop materials off at
our office in Lucas Hall Suite 116 or mail them to:
