You may choose to begin your studies in Fall or Spring. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis  until three weeks before the semester begins (August 1 for Fall and January 1 for Spring). The academic calendar provides additional information regarding important dates within each semester and interim session.

Evaluation of students for admission is a very individualized process. A prospective student’s background, work experience, career progression, and desire to succeed are considered in making an admission decision.

To apply, please submit the following:

  1. A completed application with essays
  2. A non-refundable application fee of $40 ($50 for international applicants)
  3. Official transcript(s)* (one copy)
  4. Two current letters of recommendation**
  5. GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) test results***
  6. A current resume
  7. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results†

*One from each college and university attended. You must possess the equivalent of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. Transcripts must be sent directly from the registrar to the Graduate School, Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois 61625.

**Persons who can comment meaningfully on your capability for graduate–level study. Faculty members under whom you have studied and employers are considered appropriate references.

***The GMAT is a standardized test designed to measure aptitude for graduate study in management. Successful applicants will have a superior overall previous academic record and an above average total GMAT score. The GMAT must have been taken no earlier than five years prior to the date of admission to the program. You must arrange to take the test in sufficient time to permit processing of the application with the test results prior to the application deadline. For reporting the test results, the Bradley University GMAT institutional code is 1070. Learn more and register for the GMAT online.

†This test measures proficiency in oral and written English and is required only for international students whose native language is not English.

Admissions Criteria

The entire application package including GMAT score, undergraduate GPA, transcripts, letters of recommendation, experience, essay responses, and other materials are considered in an application review for student admission.

The final recommendation on admission rests with the Director of MBA and Executive MBA Programs with the advice of an admissions committee consisting of three Foster College graduate faculty members.

The GMAT exam may be waived if the applicant has earned a terminal degree in his/her profession (i.e. JD in law or a PhD in some field). The GMAT may also be waived if the candidate has a master's degree in an analytically rigorous discipline (i.e. mathematics, engineering, etc.) and a master's GPA of at least 3.4 or better. The decision on the waiver of the GMAT rests with the Business Graduate Admissions Committee. To request a waiver, the applicant must include a written request with the application materials.

Financing Your Education

MBA program costs are charged per semester hour. For the 2012-2013 school year, the cost per credit hour is $740. This does not include the cost of textbooks and class materials. Unlike many “fee-heavy” institutions, Bradley University charges only a single activity fee of $25 each semester.

Help in financing your education is available through scholarships, assistantships, fellowships, and loans. Learn moreabout these options.

Tuition benefit programs, offered by many employers are an excellent alternative financing option. Check with your human resources department to determine if your organization can provide tuition assistance.

Preferred employers of Bradley University also receive a 35% tuition discount for all enrolled MBA students. View ourEmployer Benefits page for more details regarding this discount opportunity for you and your employer.
