Introduction to Openness in Education
Starting dates and places
Description
Introduction to Openness in Education provides a broad overview of the ways in which openness impacts many areas of education – curriculum, instruction, learning, policy, technology, research, and finance.
Instructor
David Wiley, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Instructional Psychology and Technology
In the past I’ve taught semester-long courses on both OER and on open policy, and both these topics felt rushed in a 15 week format. Consequently, the main goal of this course is to give you a broad grounding in the many aspects of the field of open education. The course uses badges to allow plenty of opportunity to dive deeper in the specific areas that interest you.
