During your 2-day training, you will gain an understanding of what the role of a Scrum Master is in a SAFe company. Unlike traditional Scrum Master training that focuses on the basics of Scrum at the team level, this course explores the Scrum Master role from the context of the entire company. The course prepares the participant to successfully plan and implement Program Increment (PI), which is the primary enabler of alignment at all levels of a SAFe organization. This includes learning the key components regarding scaling up agile development, how Scrum is practiced across the enterprise, and how to do iterative planning. Participants will also learn how to build high-performing Agile teams to deliver maximum business value "at scale."

Prerequisites

Everyone is welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are recommended for those who intend to take SAFe® 6 Scrum Master (SSM).

• Experience working in a Lean-Agile environment

Attendees must attend both days of the course in order to be eligible for the exam.

• Exam delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
• Exam access: Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the SAFe 6 Scrum Master course
