Prerequisites:

All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe® 6 Agilist (SA) certification exam:

• 5+ years’ experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
• Experience in Scrum

Participants who pass the AI Empowered Leading SAFe 6 certification exam will receive:

Exam details

A SAFe Agilist(SA) is a Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe) enterprise leadership professional who is part of a Lean-Agile transformation. Note that attending the course does not guarantee passing the exam.

Attending the class prepares you to take the exam and become a SAFe® 6 Agilist (SA).

Exam format:

• Name: SAFe Agilist Exam
• Format: Multiple Choice
• Delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
• Access: Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the AI Empowered Leading SAFe course
• Duration: Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam
• Number of Questions: 45
• Exam language – English

FAQ

When is the classroom schedule?

Depending on the starting dates, our classroom courses are consecutively held from 10 am - 6 pm (CET) with lunch breaks in between

Will missing a live class affect my ability to complete the course?

Yes, you may be subject to not getting the exam voucher if you don't attend a class. Therefore, it's better always to let us know at least 2 weeks in advance if you require any rescheduling requests.

What’s new in the Leading SAFe course?

The course has been updated to simplify and refine its core content, while introducing new topics that help learners understand how to apply AI in their roles. Although the overall course length remains similar, selected materials have been removed, updated, or expanded to better align with learning objectives and create a smoother learning experience.

Has AI content been added to the SA exam or practice test?

Yes. The update introduces new exam topics covering AI-enabled SAFe practices, prompt engineering, and responsible AI. Both the exam and practice test have been revised with new questions to assess these areas. The exam format remains the same: 45 questions with a 90-minute time limit.

How can I upgrade my SAFe® 6 Agilist certification to the AI-Empowered SA?

If you are a current Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist, you can upgrade by completing the Essential AI Skills SAFe Skill available in the SAFe Skills Library. This short, self-paced e-learning takes approximately 45 minutes. After completion, your certification will automatically update to Certified AI-Empowered SAFe Agilist, and you’ll receive a new digital badge.

Is there a fee to upgrade to the AI-Empowered SA?

If you hold an active SAFe® 6 SA certification, there is no additional cost. The SAFe Skill modules are included with your membership. If your certification has expired, you must renew it first to regain access to the SAFe Skills Library and complete the upgrade.

What happens to my SA6 certification after upgrading?

After completing the upgrade, you will receive the new AI-Empowered SA certification. Your original SAFe® 6 SA credential will remain on record, so you will hold both certifications. However, moving forward, you will only need to renew the AI-Empowered SA certification.
