PRE-REQUISITES

  • The IIBA® CBAP Training Course is best suited for business analysis professionals with seven to ten years of experience, senior analysis professionals, and project managers.
  • The exam is not included with this course. However if you do choose to sit the CBAP exam independently, you need to fulfil certain criteria:
  • At least 7,500 hours of hands-on business analysis experience in the last 10 years - this must include at least 900 hours in four of the six BABOK® Guide knowledge areas
  • A minimum of 35 hours of professional development in the past four years
  • Two references from a career manager, client or Certified Business Analysis Professional
  • A signed Code of Conduct

CBAP EXAM

The CBAP exam is not included with this course.

Before you can sit the CBAP exam, you will need to meet all the formal pre-requisites and apply for membership with International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), the accrediting body for this qualification, via their website.

The exam is computer-based and must be taken at a Prometric test centre. To gain entry to the test centre and to your exam, your IIBA profile name must match your government identification.

The CBAP exam is formulated from the body of knowledge in the BABOK® Guide, and the format is as follows:

  • Three and a half hours in duration
  • 120 questions
  • Multiple choice
  • Exam questions are both scenario and case study-based

When can I participate in the live online courses?

There will always be new cohort every month. The time of each course varies per group/cohort. You will get access to a dashboard with a number of different time slots for the same session/topic. You decide which date and time suits you best. Some are scheduled for weekday afternoons, while others are scheduled for weekend mornings or evenings. The schedule is based on factors such as the number of interested participants and the availability of trainers. If you miss a session, you can always watch recordings of that session. Recordings are available for 1 year. You will never miss a thing!
