Objective:

The NOGEPA 2.15 formal assessment determines if an OIM is competent to lead a well-trained Emergency Management Team during Major emergencies on an offshore installation. During the assessment candidates will be confronted with incidents that can occur while executing daily activities on an offshore platform. It is advisable to follow the NOGEPA 2.14a MoME course prior to taking the assessment. Objective: To formally assess a delegate's ability to show effective leadership during Major Emergencies on Offshore installations. * Course duration might depend. If the student has not received training in a long time, one day refresher may be advisable.

Contents:

Every candidate is to act as an OIM and command an Emergency Management Team during 3 simulated Major Emergencies in a control room simulator. During these simulations, the candidate will be assessed by an independent Industry Experienced assessor and a RelyOn Nutec Management trainer.
