Students selected for the Leadership in Healthcare program come from diverse professional backgrounds and all are passionate about improving the state of the industry. You will draw upon your professional experience and learn to better adapt to the momentous changes taking place in healthcare management, innovation, financing, and delivery of care. Further, you will increase your understanding of competition and cooperation, and you will acquire tools and frameworks to navigate—and capitalize upon—the complexity that exists within and across enterprises and societies.
The Leadership in Healthcare program offers all of the benefits of the Yale School of Management’s full-time MBA—an academically challenging program, integrated core curriculum, access to both on-campus and visiting faculty, and development of a network of professional resources and friends—within a 22-month schedule that enables you to earn a Yale MBA while continuing to maintain your professional responsibilities.
A few of the unique aspects of the Leadership in Healthcare program are:
- Students work closely with other professionals with demonstrated leadership at the intersection of business and society to share ideas and approaches to problem solving for the healthcare industry.
- The focus on teaching business and leadership skills and the opportunity to apply these skills to solve current issues through the use of “raw” case studies and other group assignments.
- Small class size that enables more comprehensive class discussions relevant to current industry issues.
- Development of close relationships within and across the broader School of Management and University and its alumni.
