The UMSL International MBA program is a two year program in which students study one year abroad, one year at home and complete an international internship. The value of the International MBA program stems from three sources: its FORMAT, FOCUS, and the high quality of the FACULTY.
The UMSL IMBA program is unique as it is the only two year-two degree program in the nation that involves multiple partnerships. The UMSL IMBA program is unique as it is the only two year-two degree program in the nation that involves multiple partnerships. UMSL is proud to hold a student body that comes from more than 100 countries which tremendously enriches our students' learning experience while in the IMBA program. As our students in the IMBA program have to complete an internship, it is worth noting that the College of Business Administration has the largest internship program in the St. Louis region and is the only university in the U.S. with a Fortune 200 corporate headquarters on its campus.
Basic admission requirements to the UMSL IMBA program include:
- GPA (Undergraduate Grade Point Average): 3.0
- GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test): 500+
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): 550
- Functional fluency in the native language of the foreign partner school. For example functional fluency of Spanish is required for Tecnologico de Monterrey – Mexico and French is required for EM Strasbourg Business School.>
