If you're looking to create professional 3D graphics that appear just like the ones in the video games you play at home, then this is the program for you! This program is broken up into three training modules. The first is designed to make learning the fundamentals of game object modeling fun while still covering a large variety of required professional techniques. The second module expands on the first and demonstrates how to create and use professional game oriented textured assets and export them to game engines. The third and final module focuses primarily on creating and animating game characters. This 3ds Max online training program gives you the chance to immerse yourself in a 3D world. This program is designed for aspiring game animators who want to learn all the basics in this exciting field. Upon registering, you're given an initial eight months to complete this program. Should you need more time beyond the eight months, an extension of eight is available with a fee of $300.

If you want to work as a game artist or animator, then this is a great program for you. By successfully completing this program, you'll earn a certificate from the school you enrolled with, demonstrating your commitment and acknowledging your desire to work with and to learn multiple technologies. The certification clearly demonstrates that you’re a technical leader with the ability to successfully implement video game design solutions. Basic knowledge about navigating the Internet and using a PC are required, as is rudimentary knowledge of Microsoft™ Word (or compatible) software. You should also be comfortable moving through the Microsoft™ Windows desktop environment. Some experience with Photoshop™ would also be beneficial but is not required.

Materials:

You will not receive the software license for this course. You are responsible for the provision of your own software. This program is compatible with the Windows XP and later operating systems and IE 7 and later browsers. Before enrolling in this program, you should ensure that your computer meets the following requirements: Processor: Pentium II with a minimum processor speed of 550mhz Hard-disk drive available space: 10 Gigs Minimum RAM: 128MB Monitor: Color Internet connectivity: high-speed bandwidth strongly recommended The following materials are required for this program: Acrobat Reader: Click here to download. DVD-ROM or DVD Player: Because of the large amount of high quality video included in this program, we'll ship you an additional disc of video content for easy viewing. As a result, a DVD-ROM drive (or home DVD player capable of playing PC compatible MPEG4 movie files) is required in order to access the material. We strongly encourage you to purchase the following optional textbook in order to get the best experience from the program.
