We recommended you spend approximately 110 hours of your time studying for the Cisco Certified Network Assistant (CCNA) Certification Course. The pace of study is completely up to you. To give an example, if you dedicate 2 hours a week to the course it would take you a year to complete but if you could spare 4 hours a week you could complete it in six months.
The course is split into 2 main parts. Section 1: Cisco ICND Part 1: 640-822 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices. Section 2: Cisco ICND Part 2: 640-816 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices. At the end of this course you'll be able to: build simple networks, understand LANs, construct medium sized switched networks and troubleshoot problems.
Exam fees are not included and are payable directly to the test centre. Exams are taken at your local Prometrics or Vue Testing Centre. To find the location of your nearest centre please visit www.prometric.com or www.vue.com
Assessment for this award is carried out by two exams held at a local approved test centre. Candidates will gain experience through hands-on lab exercises that allow you to practice what you learn in a fully functional, simulated environment, as well as access to practice tests and exam simulators. In addition, students will have the full support of an expert tutor to guide you every step of the way.
