than 20 years of experience as a technical editor and writer,
working mainly as a consultant. Her clients have included Adobe
Systems, Apple Computer, Avid Technology, Broderbund, FrameMaker,
Global Village, Symantec and Sun Microsystems. She has won awards
from the Society for Technical Communication for two books she
produced.

A requirement in the Professional Sequence in Technical Communication
Build on the skills you developed in Technical Communication I X465, and hone your ability to define a document’s audience and purpose to present the information in an optimal form. Improve your technical writing style and technique while creating writing samples that include a variety of document types for both print and online presentation. Review technical communication tools and technology, as well as current Web content and formatting languages.
Prerequisite: Technical Communication I X465 (or the online course Technical Writing X412), or equivalent
