Goals
- Find the log files of the following databases: SAP DB/Max DB, MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 (Universal Database), Informix and DB2 (OS/390).
- Access basic data about relational database's architecture and functions; introduce the tool used to database administration activities.
- Learn how a Database Management System (DBMS) works. Define backup of data and log data.
- Explain some basic scenarios of database data recovery.
- Schedule activities to be done in the database and verify the result of the activity using the DB13 - Planning Calendar transaction.
