Content

• This workshop is a superset of ADM535 (Database Administration DB2). The material is covered from an expert’s perspective.
• The installation of an SAP software component is performed in project teams. Special emphasis is placed on implementing customer systems, for example, SAP NetWeaver 7.01 .
• Database layout and storage management
• Data backup and recovery
• Proactive database monitoring
• Database performance tuning
• High availability options for DB2 databases
• Preventive problem analysis with DB2
• Certification examination for becoming a Technology Associate – System Administration (DB2 LUW) with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 covering the content of training courses TADM10, TADM12 and TADM56

• This course does not cover DB2 for z/OS or DB2 for i5/OS.
