Content

  • Become familiar with the SAP NetWeaver EP and with the concept of business packages.
  • Describing and testing individual ESS and MSS scenarios.
  • Become familiar with the system landscape with the portal, translation layer and back-end system, and understand how the individual components interact with the Web Dynpro services.
  • Creating and assigning XSS roles and Users in SAP NetWeaver EP and in the backend system.
  • Customizing ESS and MSS applications in the back-end.

Notes

  • This class replaces HR250 and HR260 by combining those topics into a single class offering.
  • For more information about the technology, see courses in the NET curriculum and the EP curriculum.
  • Course HR940 is a recommended follow-up course for authorization, Courses ADM960 and ADM102 are recommended for SSO and Net Weaver Application Server.
  • For the technical system setup please refer to the class HR290.
  • Courses NET310 and JA310 discusses programming Web Dynpro services.
