Bulk Transportation and Shipment Costing
Goals
- This course will prepare you to define key components of Transportation and Distribution (TD), understand the integration of supply chain scheduling and Supply Chain Execution, describe shipment cost processing for TD shipments. Supply chain scheduling consists of TSW (Traders and Schedulers Workbench) and TPI (Transportation Planning Interface). Supply chain execution is TD (Transportation and Distribution) and TAS (Terminal Automation System interface). So an overview of TSW, TPI and TAS will be given and the integration into TD will be demonstrated.
