Active Listening Training Course

Effective listening is one of the keys to success in our work, relationships, or anything that is important to us. Active listening doesn’t come naturally and most of us have just never developed the habits that would make us effective listeners. Great communicators use active listening to foster team work, commitment, trust and reduce conflict.

These fun, high-energy training courses are scheduled in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Manhattan, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, and Seattle.

Learning Outcomes - Active Listening Training Course

By the end of this training course, participants will:

• Test your ability to actively listen
• Identify the difference between ‘hearing’ and ‘listening’
• Determine active listening principles
• Identify your own communication behaviors
• Understand how your emotions effect the ability to listen and communicate
• Understand the use of ‘minimal encouragers’
• Learn to paraphrase and restate for clarification
• Practice active listening skills
• Manage an encouraging and productive brainstorming environment

Times

Public classes start at 9:00am and finish around 4:30pm.

Class Size

Public classes will be a small relaxed group of between 4 and 12 people.

The small group helps ensure that everyone will get a chance to ask questions and learn at their own pace.

What is provided?

All participants will be provided with morning tea, afternoon tea, printed bound courseware to keep and a Active Listening Training Course Certificate of Completion.

Certificates of Completion are issued to each participant
